Peco Peco, Powai Kitchen Review

Yesterday was a special Sunday for my family. It was my parent’s 21’st wedding anniversary. Therefore, we wanted to make it special. For that purpose, around 8 to 10 guests were to come. We decided on a fusion menu of Chinese and Indian Mughlai food.  There was only one thing on my mind after listening to my friend who was praising Curry Culture and Peco Peco, Powai Kitchen in Mumbai.  Therefore, I placed the order and got the delivery. I ordered 3 items from Peco Peco which specializes in Chinese food.

I am eager to give you detailed review of my experience, actually family’s experience with the food. It was a three course grand meal. So, let’s get started:

Peco Peco Chinese:

  1. Starter- Chicken Lollipop

The chicken lollipop was saucy, fried to perfection and juicy. It was also chunky and so was really appetising. I would give it 4.5/5 starts. I loved the taste but felt that color should be little lighter and taste a bit spicier.  You get 8 in a box so, it’s truly worth it!

2. Main Course Gravy- Chicken Chilly

There is nothing more to say about it than just “Yum”. It had all the spice, sauces and chicken pieces that take you to China’s best city. I would give it 5/5 stars. Color and taste was fabulous. It was good enough for 3 people, I had ordered large and 3 of those.

3. Rice- Triple Schezwan rice

The good part about this one is that for change it had all the veggies, fried egg shreds and chicken chunks. It was truly a schezwan and no joke like you get otherwise. The price is totally worth it. The gravy was good too and little tangy. I would give it 4/5 stars.

Overall, the meal was a hearty one and delivery was on time. I loved the service of Peco Peco Kitchen, Powai, Mumbai. I would recommend it hands down.
