Yash KanodiaPier 38 was an elevating experience because I had heard a lot about this place but never got a chance to visit it before. The location is perfect- First floor of Cyberhub, Gurgaon. Yes, there are too many places to visit in CyberHub but this is one of the quite few who will never disappoint you or your friends/family.
The ambience is well-designed with classic movie posters, there is an option for outdoor and indoor seating, the decor includes beautiful lights, comfortable leather seats & stools , a live bar and ample space for live band/acoustic/stand-up performances.
The food was quite mouth-watering, especially the Mezze Platter. All their breads (main course) are soft and full of flavours. The Mezze Platter is mind-blowing, i.e. a triple floor which includes breads, dips and authentic Lebanese dishes; from Pita, Zatar, Baklava to Hummus, Baba Ganoush and Falafel.
My list of must-haves are mentioned below:
- Shawarma Chicken Tikka
- Mezze Platter(veg and non-veg)
- Cheese Cigar Rolls
- Brownie
- Nutella Rolls
- Cheese Corn Balls
The cocktails were really alcoholic, so beware before you gulp in too many of them. Although the flavours were lip-smacking, the cocktails needs improvement because of the mere fact that the amount of alcohol in them are too high to enjoy. They must understand the fact that when a person visits such a place, he/she is not looking to pass out, but to have a good time.
Still, the following made my list of must-haves:
- Fresh Fruit LIIT
- Whiskey Daisy
- Iced Martini
Overall experience was pretty decent; if not perfect.
