The number you follow or the girl you Love? The 23rd girl : Book review

IMG_20170622_193501Fascination!! Mysterious Connection!! Queer coincidences!!

Experience is what it takes to understand the twist of fate. You come across so many happenstances in your life but rarely do you pay attention to them. But once you do, you cannot avoid them because we are Man of destiny who play on luck. More than we believe in anything else, we believe in Fortune; either good or bad. Once we start believing in “something” called lucky charm or bad omen, we start coupling affairs happening around us with it. And the cycle goes on. But is this something real or is it just a plot in our sub-conscious mind; deeply rooted to be denied no matter how much ahead we move with time? And is it justifiable to be obsessed with it?

Too many questions are going-on in the mind while thinking of it? The same happened with me. I was all intrigued as well as surprised while reading the book “The 23rd girl”.

About the author

Who can tell us about the journey and experiences of writing a book better than the author himself?

So here are the excerpts from the talk we had with the co-author Rohan Kachalia

1.) What made you choose this subject for the book?

A1) Well, the basic concept was that of the publishers and post that, I gave a detailed summary, outline and started writing the FUN story.

2.) Do you yourself believe in numerology and astrology or just serendipity?

A) No, I do not believe in numerology and astrology, but sometimes do turn the last few pages of newspaper just to see what the stars have for me on that particular day.

3.) How was the experience of writing your first work?

A.) Writing my first book was lot of fun actually as I was enjoying writing the plot and the funny character that it has. But having said that, I was cautious enough to study the method in which the writing process get simpler and thus the experience was fairly good.

4.) Something about co-author Divya?

A) Well, Divya is extremely passionate and energetic when it comes to writing and the book. It was easy working with her as a co-author and most of our talks and ideas had similarity in views, thus making it simple enough to work together.

5.) When is your next work coming and what would be the subject?

A.) Ahh… even this question is on my mind for quite some days now. Well, I have a concept ready in my brain. Only thing I need is to put words to laptop. So, probably pretty soon you will see my new work.

About the book

It all starts with a bang! Rashv (we know author has selected not so common name for the main lead), who is going to start his college years, is a brilliant academic student but an average physique guy. This had made things a bit of difficult for him when it came to his love life. Having a mind for numbers, he suddenly discovered that there was a number 23 associated with all his deciding life-events. Strange na!! But true!! And eventually, his obsession for the number starts influencing almost every activity of his life. From college years to corporate world!

Then one day, he meets this girl, Roohi. She is no less than a bright star who has shined in all spheres of her life. But while achieving the sky, she somehow started missing the adventures of ground. So she paused her journey for a while and tightened her belts to odyssey. Exploring the places, exploring the unknown, exploring the Love!!

And at one of the crossings of life, destiny made way for Rashv and Roohi in each other’s life and made them fly high together.

But suddenly Rashv realized that she did not fit in his so called “number theory” and the story took a new turn!

What did Rashv do in the end? Did he give his number theory a chance or Roohi the upper-edge?

Just turn around the pages of a super-exciting book and find all the answers. You won’t be disappointed.
