The LightHouse Cafe, Whitefield Bangalore

How often we come across a café who prefers a health-conscious food rather than a junk. Not quite often.

But here is a good news for the people of Bangalore. The Lighthouse Café in Whitefield serves food which they claim to be organic, healthy, with no artificial colours or flavour. They serve Italian and continental menu, with yummy desserts, hot and cold beverages.

When we visited the Cafe, we had an awesome experience. The Café is in a cross lane away from the hustle- bustle of the busy Whitefield area. Simple in ambience it has two extremely caring host who are the owners of the Café and they take care of each need. Right from explaining what inspired them to open the Cafe to what’s best in the menu they make you feel like home.

With a wide variety of items on Menu ranging from nuggets to sandwiches to quesadillas to cupcakes, they have almost everything both in veg and non-veg. Apart from having mostly organic items the other USP of the Café is there home like food. The Masala tea, Quesadilla are a must try. One can also try the mango shake to beat the heat also the Coffee to relieve the stress of a busy office day.

Talking about the ambience, it’s a calm simple set up inside a house. Though the ambience seems to be simple but since the Café is in its nascent stage we feel it will enhance with time. Given the food which tastes like home the ambience became
secondary for us. The price is also quite reasonable or even low considering most of stuff they serve is organic. They have both indoor and outdoor seating.

We have the list of Menu item-

Keeping in mind the location- a calm place, the pricing and the focus on healthy organic ingredients used in what they serve we definitely think it is a must try place for anyone who is looking for a simple yet tasteful, yummylicious and healthy day.
