Consul General Peter Huyghebaret with miss word Manushi Chillar

Did I say “ Dream World” ? Silly me.Of course, I meant the Belgian King’s Day celebration. It was Truly a dream come true to attend the Belgian King’s Day celebration on November 15 at Jade Garden.I was totally swept away by the the music, ambiance, fashion show and the magic of it up close in front of my eyes. The event began with everyone paying respect to the Indian and the Belgium national anthem. Miss World 2017 Manushi Chillar was also present at the event.

I took the opportunity to dress up a little more for this event,so here I was in a beautiful black off shoulder gown with floral designs and high heels.

Belgian King's Day Fashion

My #ootd for the Belgian King’s Day event.

It turned out to be a Cinderella’s ball for me as I graced one of the VIP seats to capture the high end fashion. As they say when the Sun goes down the excitement sets in and it was really true for this event. The fashion show was really a feast for the eyes. The one thing I loved about attending this event apart from the other things was the fashion show by Belgium’s top designers Shuting qiuand Jean Paull.

The Show began with ace designer Shuting qiu’s designs. It was a fantastic experience to see the designs as a living and breathing piece in front of the eyes. The garden setting was perfectly matching with the theme of the designs. The dresses did not seem like weighing heavily on the body and they also had an aerated bounce to them.

Next was Jean Paull’s show, his designs were an unusual and out of the box, yet totally wearable. The awesome colour and versatile headgears combination was utterly a love at first sight, sort of a thing.Since, I am a big fan of fashion, I can go on and on about it. But if you seriously ask me to list the three best things about this event,it will definitely be the rocking music, food and fashion show. Also, not to forget the awesome ambiance and great hospitality of Jade Garden, Worli.
